Halibut Fishing Charters In Valdez Alaska |
Both of our charter boats are twin-powered diesels which feature warm comfortable
cabins, heads and all around fishing decks. Each boat is equipped with the latest
navigational and safety equipment as well as the best tackle and bait to go
after the "Big Ones". All you need to bring is food, drink and raingear (depending
on the forecast). Waterproof shoes are also recommended as we are constantly
washing the decks as fish come aboard. These charters are usually 12 hours long
and fish cleaning is provided, but tips are appropriate for this service. |
While halibut is the targeted fish on these trips, many other species of fish are
also caught frequently. These may include ling cod (which cannot be kept until
after July 1rst), yellow eye rock fish, other species of rock fish, eels, sharks
and even the occasional salmon. There are also fish that we don't keep such
as turbot and grey cod. Our season runs from mid april through mid september and
our two-day overnight rates are the best in town. You get more fishing time plus you get 2 day limits ! |
